Hedgehogs, Coffee and Spiders.
Once I found a beautiful hedgehog
A classic dilemma they had
“A bit dramatic,” I thought
Closeness could hurt and trap.
The hedgehog’s vision was dimmer
Yet their wisdom was greater,
For I thought their dilemma cliché,
Yet soon found intimate danger
Linguistics my finest desire,
Written prose and coffee rounds,
But my inner world is on fire
Again to be razed to the ground
Now I’ve spun many a silken story,
And now I’ve spun my own web,
The two-spider allegory
“Don’t eat me, I’m a friend.”
